Font generator, also known as Text Font Generator, Online Font Generator, Free Font Generator, Cool Text Generator, this generator can convert your text into cool 'fonts', these cool 'fonts' are not real fonts,In fact, these 'fonts' are composed of symbols from unicode, a set of codes that collect characters from various countries around the world. Complete family of 12 fonts: $300.00 Novel Pro was designed by Christoph Dunst and published by Atlas Font Foundry. Novel Pro contains 13 styles and family package options. What tool do you use to convert ttf fonts to bitmap fonts? Following is a list of features I'm looking for. I'd be happy with any tool really, but one that had these features would be better. Outputs power-of-2 texture atlas; parsible config file (so I don't have to use their rendering library) output kerning information; cross platform. A new version of this tutorial is available at Automating Map Creation with Print Layout Atlas (QGIS3)
If your organization publishes printed or online maps, you often would need tocreate many maps with the same template - usually one for each administrativeunit or a region of interest. Creating these maps manually can take a long timeand if you want to update these on a regular basis, it can turn into a chore.QGIS has a tool called
Atlas
that can help you create a map template andeasily publish a large number of maps for different geographic regions. If youare not familiar with the basics of Print Composer, please go through theMaking a Map tutorial.Overview of the task¶
This tutorial shows how to create wetlands map for each county in the state ofHawaii.
Other skills you will learn¶
- How to use the
InvertedPolygons
style renderer to fill areas outside of polygons. - How to use an expression in the
RuleBased
style renderer to show onlythe current feature in Atlas. - Apply expressions to create dynamic labels in Print Composer.
Get the data¶
We will use the GIS Data Layers from State of Hawaii -Office of Planning
Download the Wetlands layer fromBiologic and Ecologic category.
Download the Census County Boundaries 2010 layer from theCultural and Demographic category.
For convenience, you may directly download a copy of both the datasets from the linksbelow:
Data Source [HAWAII]
Procedure¶
- Launch QGIS and go to Layer ‣ Add Layer ‣ Add VectorLayer.
- Browse to the
HI_Wetlands.shp.zip
file and click Open.
- Select the
HI_Wetlands_Poly
layer and click OK.
- You will see the polygons representing the wetlands in the entire state ofHawaii. Since we want to make separate wetlands map for each county in thestate, we will need the county boundaries layer. Go to Layer‣ Add Layer ‣ Add Vector Layer and browse to the
county10.shp.zip
file. Click Open.
- Go to Project ‣ New Print Composer.
- Leave the composer title field empty and click OK.
- Go to Layout ‣ Add Map.
- Drag a rectangle while holding the left mouse button where you would like toinsert the map.
- Scroll down in the Item Properties tab and check theControlled by atlas box. This will indicate the composer thatthe extent of the map displayed in this item will be determined by the
Atlas
tool.
- Switch to the Atlas generation tab. Check theGenerate an atlas box. Select the
county10
as theCoverage layer. This will indicate that we want to create 1 mapeach for every polygon feature in thecounty10
layer. You can alsocheck the Hidden coverage layer so that the features themselveswill not appear on the map.
- You will notice that the map image does not change after configuring theAtlas settings. Go to Atlas ‣ Preview Atlas.
- Now you will see the map refresh and show how individual map will looklike. Notice that it shows the current feature number from the coveragelayer at the bottom right.
- You can preview how the map will look for each of the county polygons. Goto Atlas ‣ Next Feature.
- Atlas will render the map to the extent of the next feature in the coveragelayer.
- Let’s add a label to the map. Go to Layout ‣ Add Label.
- Under the Item properties tab, click Insert anexpression.. button.
- The label of the map can use the attributes from the coverage layer.he
concat
function is used to join multiple text items into a single textitem. In this case we will join the value of theNAME10
attribute ofthecounty10
layer with the textCountyof
. Add an expression likebelow and click OK.
- Adjust the font size to your liking.
- Add another label and enter
WetlandsMap
under the Mainproperties. Since there is no expression here, this text will remain thesame on all maps.
- Go to Atlas ‣ Last Feature and verify that the maplabels do work as intended. You will notice that the wetland map haspolygons extending out in the ocean that looks ugly. We can change thestyle to that areas outside the county boundaries are hidden.
- Switch to the main QGIS window. Right-click the
county10
layer andselect Properties.
- In the Style tab, select the Inverted polygonsrenderer. This renderer styles the outside of the polygon - not inside.Select white as the fill color and click OK.
- Switch to the Print Composer window. If we want the effect of the invertedpolygons to show, we need to uncheck the Hidden coverage layerbox under Atlas generation. You will now see that the renderedimage is clean and areas outside the coverage polygon is not visible.
- There is one problem though. You can see areas of the map that are outsidethe coverage layer boundary but still visible. This is because Atlasdoesn’t automatically hide other features. This can be useful in somecases, but for our purpose, we only want to show wetlands of the countywhose map is being generated. To fix this, switch back to the main QGISwindow and right-click the
county10
layer and selectProperties.
- In the Style tab, select Rule-based renderer as theSub renderer. Double-click the area under Rule.
- Click the .. button next to Filter.
- In the Expression string builder, expand the Atlasgroup of functions. The
$atlasfeatureid
function will return thecurrently selected feature. We will construct an expression that willselect only the currently selected Atlas feature. Enter the expression asbelow:
Font Atlas Generator Fortnite
- Back in the Print Composer window, click the Update previewbutton under Item properties tab to see the changes. Noticethat now only the area covering the county boundary is shown.
- We will now add another dynamic label to show the current date. Go toLayout ‣ Add Label and select the area on the map. ClickInsert an expression button.
- Expand the Date and Time functions group and you will find the
$now
function. This holds the current system time. The functiontodate()
will convert this to a date string. Enter the expression asbelow:
- Add another label citing the data source. You may also add other mapelements such as a north arrow, scalebar etc. as described inMaking a Map tutorial.
- Once you are satisfied with the map layout, go to Atlas ‣Export Atlas as Images.
- Select a directory on your computer and click Choose.
- The Atlas tool will now iterate through each feature in the coverage layerand create a separate map image based on the template we created. You cansee the images in the directory once the process completes.
- Here are the map images for refeence.
Vulgar's Atlas tool helps you make International Auxiliary Languages by analysing multiple translations of words and outputting the 'average' word. Add groups of translations on new lines, separate each translation with spaces.

- Atlas assumes you are inputting words phonetically using the International Phonetic Alphabet.
- Atlas will treat any group of vowels as a single syllable nucleus unless the vowels are divided up by a full stop. For instance, in the name 'Claudia', au is one syllable, but ia is two syllables. Thus, to get more accurate analysis 'Claudia' should be entered as 'Claudi.a'.
